Silicon Valley Tweetup is teaming with PRSA to celebrate the end of summer with a pool party! Join us in the cabanas at the Moorpark Hotel for tasty treats, good drinks and, as usual, a fundraiser for a worthy cause. Swimming is not required, but a good time should be had by all!

This month we're supporting The Role Model Program, a San Jose-based organization that creates a community where all children are empowered with the sk...ills and self confidence to succeed, as well a community where adults reach out to inspire underserved youth. All door donations -- we ask for $10 minimum -- will go to this wonderfully worthy cause.

The minimum $10 donation provides the usual drink tickets, as well as a host of yummy appetizers. We'll also feature wine pouring from artisan winemakers and growers Flora Springs Winery, based in Napa Valley.

But that's not all... we'll also be raffling 25 signed copies of "Engage: The Complete Guide for Brands and Businesses to Build, Cultivate, and Measure Success in the New Web" by Brian Solis.
