COMMUNICATIONS AND PUBLIC RELATIONS MANAGER

$113,172-$161,262 Annually

The Communications and Public Relations Manager reports to the Chief Executive Officer and serves as the District’s chief spokesperson.  The Communications and Public Relations Manager is responsible for all internal and external communications with a staff of 13 and a budget of $4.2 million.  As a member of the CEO’s team, the Communication and Public Relations Manager leads and directs the development of the District’s strategic communication plan which includes branding the District; creating and maximizing informational opportunities; educating District employees; providing the mechanism for the Board and management to link with the community; media relations; and ensuring that the District maintains a positive image and reputation with its various stakeholders and the general public.  The Communications and Public Relations Manager will provide organization-wide leadership on all aspects of internal and external communications. 

The Communications and Public Relations Manager is responsible for planning, development and execution of an overall District communication strategy.
