Client service
• Primary day-to-day contact with designated clients, responsible for all written and verbal client communications, unless specifically delegated to team members
• Responsible for master plan creation, management and metrics, and same for sub plans
• Leads weekly internal and external client meetings
• Responsible for month end processes related to accounts, including activity reports

Account team management
• Manage team members in capacity of servicing specific accounts
• Contribute to mid year and year end reviews of team members serving account base
• Conduct weekly or bi-weekly one on one meetings with Vice President to provide live, real time feedback on account progress, issues and opportunities as well as team member progress, issues and opportunities
• Escalate account service issues that require VP/PIC intervention (client service problems, program direction changes, client business issues, crisis communications, etc.)

Material development
• Responsible for written materials – either through review or origination (e.g. news release, backgrounders, fact sheets, bios, newsletters and pitch letters)
• Develop first drafts of messaging for core programs and specific programs
• Provide first level quality assurance
• Support new business proposal development, as directed by Vice President

Media relations
• Develop and place stories in business, trade and consumer media
• Serve as media relations representative on client behalf at trade shows, industry events
• Provide media coaching, preparation and assessment/feedback to client spokespersons

Analyst relations
• Pitch and secure analyst briefings
• Support client in development of analyst presentations
• Serve as principal account team member hosting and staffing briefings

Research
• Project manage research director and resources in execution of client-related research
• Initiate and track hours budgets relative to research projects

Leadership
• Contribute to refining core agency processes
• Originate and lead one internal best practice per year
• Serve as a positive role model to team members

Administration
• Manage month-end activity report review and revision
• Adhere to consistent, timely time entry


Education/Experience
Bachelors Degree in Public Relations or Communications preferred and minimum of six (6) years of job-related experience, preferably in an agency setting or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
