Are you passionate about the written word and possess strong attention to detail? DPR Construction, one of the nation’s top technical builders, seeks a highly motivated communications professional to help support national marketing efforts.
Based out of the Redwood City, CA, office, the communications professional will:
- Play an active role in developing, fact-checking and editing content for DPR marketing collateral, including the DPR Review newsletter, white papers/byline articles, direct mail campaigns, etc.
- Support national public relations efforts, including drafting and editing press releases, maintaining national media database and tracking and organizing media placements.
- Help create proposal/qualification/presentation standards and materials that can be leveraged by regional offices.
- Manage information and statistics that can be utilized within DPR’s national marketing materials, including sales forecast reports, Customer Satisfaction Survey results, Critical Success Factor measurements, etc.
- Help develop and execute web strategies, including creating content and assisting in the overall maintenance of corporate website.
- Help maintain DPR’s national CRM and digital asset databases.
- Identify national speaking opportunities and awards and help coordinate/develop content for submissions, as well as work with content experts to create presentations.

- Exceptional copywriting and editing capabilities. (Please provide writing samples.)
- Ability to translate data and technical information into compelling messages/stories.
- Solid project management and organizational skills.
- Effective interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Minimum four years of experience in public relations or marketing professional services (A/E/C industry experience a plus).
- Some knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, public relations, marketing or related field.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail and good common sense.
