Position Summary

AxiCom, a technology PR consultancy with offices across Europe and the US, is looking to hire a Senior Vice President to lead the expansion of its client base in the US. The SVP, Business Development will be part of a core group responsible for developing AxiCom’s positioning for the US market and expanding the agency’s client roster beyond its foundational client, Dell Inc.

This role will also be responsible for leading the strategic management of new accounts. As such, the ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading business development efforts as well as strong client management and team management skills.

Responsibility and Scope

  • Developing and implementing the agency’s marketing strategy in the US
  • Leading new business initiatives to acquire new clients
  • Managing and staffing new clients

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in communications, with technology expertise/experience
  • Proven track record in winning new business
  • Proven ability to manage and grow accounts at an agency
  • Strong network in Silicon Valley and other technology hubs in the US
  • In-depth knowledge of the technology industry, ability to spot trends
  • Strong strategic and tactical business abilities
  • Entrepreneurial and collaborative spirit
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor teams
